Hello - just writing to say that my husband purchased one of your scarves from Mod 2 Gallery, Edinburgh, we think, and it is really lovely; it is wonderfully soft, doesn't itch, and is a beautiful colour.  Burnt orange. Thank you -

I just had to write and tell your customers how lovely these Alpaca throws are.

I can say that the quality of the alpaca blanket is superb! The red colour is vibrant and so soft. I am using this blanket on my bed at the moment!

Your service is also terrific and you are always so helpful!

The blanket arrived today - it's soooo beautiful! So soft and warm, and the colour's gorgous. Thank you so, so much for this wonderful gift - and baby will surely be very happy with it too ;)  I'll be telling all my friends about your business...and I think I might save my coins for a me-sized blanket!

I highly recommend Mandoux alpaca blankets for beautiful quality, helpful service, prompt delivery, gift presentation and a gorgeous range of colours. They have added the finishing touch to our bedrooms receiving compliments from guests and provide lightweight warmth on colder summer nights or winter time.

As a mothers day gift it was perfect for snuggling on the sofa and the baby blankets make a gift that will go with any colour scheme.

Rosewood

Mandoux works with a group of artisans who live in and around the Karakouram, Hindu Kush, Himalaya mountains and the plains of the Indus.  These furniture makers have been in business for over a hundred years and are a family of brothers headed by Aman.   Saeed, the man in charge of leather work provides saddles for many of the polo players (the national sport) in the region and even made a Western saddle for President Bush!

Rosewood, or Sheesham is a deciduous tree, found growing along riverbanks below 900 meters, reaching a height of 25 meters. The grain is an attractive rich golden to dark brown colour and as hardwood, extremely durable - the perfect choice for cabinet makers.  What is even better is that the wood ants hate it!

We chose Rosewood to make our rocking horses and camels precisely for these reasons.  The wood looks gorgeous in any home and the pieces are extremely strong - our rockers have been tested to take 90kg on a 10% gradiant.

Our leather is vegetable tanned and hand stitched by the same family who have been making saddles and boots for horsemen and women for years. They know what they are doing and it looks great.

Glass

Aida, mother and provider to her family and indigenous to Ecuador, lives in a village in the northern Ecuadorian highlands.  She has been an artisan for 30 years and has turned her home into a small successful business designing and creating glass dishes and jewellery.  She has fires her work in a small kiln in the garden and from her tenacity she has educated her children.

Each piece is created individually and features an attractive bubble technique, as coloured glass beads are fired, on a flat surface to high temperatures. Aida says her glass is exciting as she is never certain of what will emerge out of her kiln.
